Late Night at the Pier is a mellow beat-em-up, where the player punches enemies to the beat of the music.
This rhythm, beat-em-up mashup was the project my team and I worked on in my first Integrated Game Studio class. Over the course of the semester, our goal was to create a prototype of an original game. Since we were creating a rhythm game, this project gave my team the additional opportunity to collaborate with a sound designer from another university.
